My concern for the long term benefit of New Haven is the rampant, just below the surface crime of corruption. In many of the city departments matters take on a nearly incestuous relationship, everyone knows someone who can diminish, quash, or ignore a felonious circumstance so that incompetence, poor decision making and lack of transparency should be eradicated.
